Training is an unusual activity followed primarily by those involved in some form of racing as otherwise it makes little sense to commit so much time to something that takes years for any substantial physical improvement. Advocates of training usually explain that they "feel younger," "have increased stamina," "get all the ladies." However, it is interesting to note that these same effects can be found while binge drinking. Ultimately training isn't advised because there will always be someone genetically superior to you.

  • Regimented schedule
  • Entering your heart rate readings into a spreadsheet
  • Periods of interrupted training result in withdrawal
