Shane

Made at the BRW by SP00K, he was constructed from an old Peugot road frame with 700c wheels, a 12" minibike frame, and various other parts. The minibike frame has been modified to accommodate usage of a 16" wheel for better handling, despite the fact that Shane has no handling. Due to it's utter lack of control in it's current design, Shane cannot be ridden for any considerable distance, meaning, any Los Angelopes rides.
First Successful Voyage
After the birthing of Shane from the BRW during , Spook (navigator) and E-Rock (captian) rode Shane for a total of 180,017½ F.U.N.
Operation
Technically speaking, Shane is not a tandem since only only rider actually provides propulsion to the bike. The "captain" sits in the front, above the front wheel, and pedals the cranks. The "navigator" sits on the rear seat and steers the bike.
When riding, it is best to have a light Captain, since their entire weight must be moved in order to steer.
Future Revisions
- Addition of a French bottom bracket in order for the navigator to provide propulsion.
- Addition of a recumbent-like seat on top-tube to allow operation by one rider.
