"Real life" (or RL) is a term making reference to Ridazz' lives outside of the bike scene. It is not necessary for Ridazz to have lives outside of the scene. In fact, certain Ridazz rarely live in the "real life", as they never are outside the realms of cycling. Case in point, Franz.

Is Bicycle Racing Real Life?

Bicycle Racing presents a conundrum as it might not be thought of as a bike activity by some Ridazz. This might be attributed to a variety of factors including (but not limited to):

• Perceived lack of social atmosphere
• Perceived lack of alcohol
• Presence of natural sunlight
• Unfavorable ratio of men to women (see also: stag party)
• Lack of raditude
• Presence of Spandex

In defense of Bicycle Racing as a bike activity there are the following:

• Brandt-Sorenson
• Bikes
• Bike riding
• Unregulated drug use
• Nonsensical announcing of events (see also Woah) (citation?)
