Be careful, as pedestrians can turn into road hazards. Keep your head up when approaching cross walks, as pedestrians often rely on the sound of oncoming traffic as cue when it is safe to cross. The quite sound of a bicycle, and smaller visibility when compared to a car can give pedestrians a fall sense of security about leaping into the road way.
