Ibikeu Wiki:LA Underground Project

The Los Angeles Metro Area is home to a vibrant and unusual underground social biking culture. In 2007 this culture could be nearly totally described by describing the activities surrounding the Midnight Ridazz, but with the growth of LA Fixed, and unaffiliated rides, the culture is now beyond the scope of any one website. The LA Underground Project aims to make the culture a little easier to understand, by improving related articles on the wiki.
This page should serve as a central location to keep track of the general progress of articles related to the underground scene in Los Angeles.

Participating Guidelines
Please do not add a page with little to no content - make sure when you add a page about a project priority you include enough content to help someone else understand a little bit more about what the page is about. Simply linking to another website and adding categories doesn't do it. Also, remember that it's important that all articles link to other articles, and are linked to by other articles. Usually this is done very naturally, but if it's not the case in an article, perhaps there needs to be more content.
Sometimes there might not be anyone in the project who has knowledge about a topic which is important to the completeness of the project. Don't despair, this is an opportunity to reach out. Maybe there is someone on one of the usual message boards who knows about the topic. Perhaps you can mobilize them to help. Not everyone will be interested in learning to use the wiki, so it is ok to take a contribution from another person, and post it up yourself, and do the wikification. In that case a note in the edit summary, or perhaps on the talk page of the article, is a good way to provide attribution.

These items are of top priority. Without meeting the goals of this section the usefulness of ibikeu Wiki to LA's bike current and future scenesters is compromised, so get to work.
