Most people in Los Angeles fall in love with their cars. David moved to LA and fell in love with bikes.

David Pulsipher moved to Los Angeles to pursue his Masters degree in Urban Planning from UCLA. After a month of bus-hopping, he bought a bike and has never looked back. Several months later he found the family of Santa Monica Critical Mass which further dialed him into the LA bike scene.

He has been a volunteer for the Bikerowave since August of 2007. He also serves as a board member for C.I.C.L.E.

David is also the Bike Coordinator for Metro. He helps run the bicycle locker program, providing bicycle lockers and racks at many of Metro's transit stations. He also creates policy recommendations and conducts research on bicyclists attitudes/behaviors.
