Colin Hinde has been a Los Angeles biker since 2002. This includes almost two years of commuting by bicycle on a route parallel to Alex Thompson. At this time he was driving a car, cursing and throwing empty plastic drink bottles at the bikers on the road. Leading by example, Colin helped bring he who has become one of LA's more "vocal" activists into the fold.

Colin's other contributions to riding include an Abortive attempt to rekindle West LA Critical Mass, participation in one of Alex Thompson's Numerous Failures, Critical Commute, and "donating" no fewer than three bikes to underprivileged criminals.

Professionally, Colin Hinde is in his 6th and final year of graduate school at UCLA. All indications are that he will be Unemployed for the foreseeable future.
