• Specalized Roubaix SL2: A new Specialized Roubaix bike was being ridden by Tom Boonen during the 2008 Paris-Roubaix road race. Rumored to be top-tier race version of the popular Specialized Roubaix for 2009 this bike combined elements of the Specialized Tarmac's geometry as well as the patented Zertz inserts. Markings on the chainstay show the bike as the Roubaix SL2, and it will be interesting to see if/when this bike will hit store shelves because it is unlikely that Specialized would cut new molds without bringing the bike to production.
