Storm the Bastile 2007
Storm The Bastille was a ride organized by Alex Thompson. It took several riders to the Santa Monica City Hall Chambers where riders voiced their opinion about the recent Santa Monica Critical Mass crackdown during public comments.
Social Rides
Cantarero began riding with Santa Monica Critical Mass in the summer of 2007. He quickly saw that the nature of corkers was usually defensive and deviated from the confrontational method of corking to a more interactive form where, instead of positioning himself in front of a vehicle, he would approach from the driver's angle and talk with the motorist. This method, it is believed by Cantarero, less antagonistic and allows for the driver to make a U-Turn to avoid waiting for the mass.
